Winifred Calabrese Obituary

Age 79, of Auburn, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025. Winifred was a woman of deep love, compassion, and warmth. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcome-always offering a kind word, a warm hug, or a place at her table. Her home was a sanctuary of comfort and her heart knew no boundaries. She had an extraordinary gift for making others feel seen, heard, and deeply cared for. She is survived by her beloved son, Nicholas Calabrese II, and her cherished grandchildren: Nicholas Calabrese III, Maxwell Calabrese, Alexander Traina, Madeline Calabrese and Easton Calabrese. Each of them carries a part of her light and legacy forward. Winifred was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Nicholas Calabrese; her son, Jason Calabrese; and her daughter-in-law, Rachel Calabrese. While her absence leaves a profound void, her memory will remain a source of strength and love to those who knew her. A private service will be held to honor her life on 10/24/2025. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Winifred's spirit by showing kindness to someone in need, welcoming a neighbor, or simply sharing love in the way she always did-with an open heart.
