TOBIAS - Yolanda J. Yola (nee Sperduti) Of Lackawanna, entered into rest September 2, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Frank R. Tobias; devoted mother of Francis (Marge) Tobias, Donna (Dennis) Couhig and Russell Tobias; cherished grandmother of Francis (Lori Baldwin) Tobias, Michael (Barbara) Tobias, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Couhig and Shannon (George) Rivera; adored great-grandmother of seven great-grandchildren; loving daughter of of the late Guiseppe and Alessandra (nee Calabrese) Sperduti; fond step-daughter of Dominic Sperduti; dear sister of Anne (late Joseph) Kacmarczyk and the late Isabelle (late Nick) Bahorsky, Josephine (late Joseph) Pienta, Julia (late Steve) Cerpinko, Joseph (late Agnes) Sperduti and the late Louis (Mary) Sperduti; special niece of the late ZiArmondo Sperduti; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUENRAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Thursday from 7-9 and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where the funeral will be held on Saturday morning at 9 oclock and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthonys Church (Lackawanna) at 10 oclock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Yolanda was past President and Secretary of the Sacred Heart Society and Secretary of the Altar & Rosary Society for St. Anthonys Church for many years. She also taught religious education and worked Bingo.
