Christopher Poe Obituary
Christopher Shane Poe, age 27, of Florence, Ala., died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. The visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Sunday, Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Norman Hargett and Randy Hargett officiating. Interment will be in Central Heights Community Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his step brother Josh Phillips, uncle Dale Young, cousin Ronica Young Adams.
Shane was employed at Navistar. He served in the U.S. Army where he was a Sharp Shooter. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. Shane was a 2003 graduate of Central High School and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a loving husband and a wonderful father of three children.
He is survived by his wife Tanna Landers Poe; mother, Lisa Young Grant and husband Scott; father, Danny Raye Poe and wife Ailene; sons, Landon Raye Poe and Christopher Lane Poe; daughter, Malasha Shayanna Poe; sister, Kayla Diana Poe Crain and husband Darrell; step-brother, John Paul Grant and wife Angela; step-sisters Alex Phillips, Tabitha Hatch and husband Chris, and Jessica Grant; nieces and nephews;, Taylre and Braison Crain, Kera and Hunter Cochran and many others; grandparents, James and Billie Young, Edgar Donald and Juaneece Poe;, great-grandfather Edgar Allen Poe, honorary grandparents Don and Beverly Moore and best friend Brandon Moore.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Davis, Matthew Davis, David Edgar, Michael Landers, Jackie Brewer and Brandon Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be 'Toot" Landers , Lesley Bacon, Dustin Bacon, Skyler Bacon, and Braden Tank and Donald Ellison.
Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights is directing.

I hate this as much as anyone. Every time someone passes in an accident such as this, I loose my brother all over again.....Words can't explain enough, the feelings I have for his family?!
