Finley Youngton Obituary
Finley was born on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at UnityPoint – St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Her strength and courage to overcome her underdeveloped heart earned her the nickname, "Finley the Fighter," and she left a lasting impact on our lives in her short time with us.
Finley is survived by her parents, Kyle and Nichole of Dunkerton; one brother, Layne Gibson; two sisters, Adaline Youngton and Willow Youngton, all at home; maternal grandparents Randy (Cindy) Spece of Independence; paternal grandparents Kenneth Sr (Kelli) Youngton of Cedar Falls; maternal great-grandmother Phylliss Randall of Quasqueton; paternal great-grandmother Marilyn Root of Oelwein; her uncles and aunts, Tyler (Jenny) Spece of Fayette, Kenneth Jr (Kristan) Youngton of Kesley, and Kassidy Youngton of Cedar Falls; and many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Eugene and Donna Spece; maternal great-grandfather Robert Vandaver; paternal great-grandparents Bill Youngton and Mary Anderson; and paternal great-grandfather Curtis Root.
She will be missed dearly, loved forever, and never forgotten.
