Jesse Catt Obituary

BOLIVAR, Mo. – Jesse Claude Catt, 89, of Bolivar passed away Friday morning, Dec. 11, 2015, at Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City, Mo., where he had been a resident since May.
Claude was born on March, 9, 1926, in Independence, Iowa, where he and his wife, Jessie (married in 1950), farmed and served the public nine years as a Buchanan County Supervisor. In 1969, Claude and Jessie and their five children moved to Bolivar. While in Bolivar they continued to farm, work in real estate and drove a truck over the road together for a period of time. He enjoyed spending time with his family on the family farm and enjoyed visits with friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie, a resident of Truman Lake Manor; five children: Linda Maberry of Bolivar, Mo.; Harold Catt and wife Cathy of Lowry City, Mo.; Pamela Carbone and husband Michael of Springfield, Mo., Roger Catt and wife Leslie of Stockton, Mo.; and Sandra Halbrook and husband David of Republic, Mo.; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
The family gathered on Monday, Dec. 14, at the family home for a private memorial service officiated by Pastor Randy Urich of Morrisville Assembly of God, of Morrisville, Mo.

My sympathy to the family of Claude Catt. Daughter Pam was my great friend @ East Buchanan, Winthrop. We had many fun "slumber-parties" at the Catt Farm. Your family is one of my BEST childhood memories. God Bless You all during your sadness. (Maiden-name Crawford....many Crawford's went to school with the Catt family)!
