Mary was born on June 30, 1958, in Decorah, Iowa, daughter of Gary and Lois (Hunter) Finholt.
Mary is survived by three children: James Downs (Jamie), Margie Ann Thompson (Jimmy), and Joshua Downs; six grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Bricen, Zachary, Vivian, Landen, and Michael. Mary also leaves behind her sister, Wanda Corkery (Gerald) of Marion, Iowa; and four brothers: James Finholt (Christi) of San Antonio, Texas; Craig Finholt (Kathy) of Independence; Steve Finholt (Brenda) of Decorah, and Brian Finholt of Jesup, Iowa.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Lois Finholt.
