Sharon Stanford Obituary
A private family service is planned for a later date. Inurnment will be held in Quasqueton Cemetery at a later date.
Survivors include her children, Carmon (Russell) McGraw of Quasqueton, Cheryl Stanford of Cedar Falls, and Charlie (Tomeko Weems) Stanford of Marion; grandchildren, Terry (Allison), Mike, Rachel, Jason (Lindsay), Kelli, Danielle, Jamie (Mitchell), David (Kayla), Jonathan, Brandon, and Kendyl; nineteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John, her sons, Clare and Chris; and her great grandson, Royce.
Sharon Rae (Borrusch) Stanford was born October 13, 1935, in Glidden, Iowa to Leonard and Viola (Heuton) Borrusch. She married John Stanford at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa on May 13, 1956. Sharon was an AVON representative, homemaker, and was daycare provider for many years. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Sharon was an active member of the church, Ladies Auxiliary, and her community.
Memorials may be directed to the Quasqueton Historical Society or the Quasqueton Community Club.
