Thomas McNamara Obituary
The son of Leonard J. and Beulah M. (Luloff) McNamara, Thomas was born on December 15, 1935. He grew up in southern Buchanan County, attending Mitchell Country School and graduating from Rowley High School in 1954. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1962. He married Mary E. Avis of Troy Mills at All Saints Catholic Church in Rowley on December 31, 1960.
Thomas worked for 30+ years in the farm equipment service industry, retiring from Ford New Holland in 1991.
He is survived by Mary, his wife of 60 years; his children, Dianne (Steve) Henry of Kingwood, Texas, and Charles (Lora) McNamara of Dunstable, Massachusetts; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alice (Dick) Franck of Quasqueton, Iowa.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.

Mary and family, My heart breaks for you all today. What a fine funeral service you had and the Military honors were ?, I have no words to describe it. He is now a peace and I just know Chuck and he are having a good conveersation and making plans to keep busy. Our men were never slackers - I am so proud of them both.
