Clyde Denslow Obituary
He was born Dec. 20, 1916 at Meade, Kan. to Juddie Morton and Viola (Coon) Denslow.
He was a member of the Church of God in Stratton, a Navy Veteran of World War II serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater and a member of the VFW in Burrton, Kan. and Halstead Post #1824.
Clyde was a farmer in Stratton.
On Feb. 16, 1947 he married Caroline Pearl Swagerty in Elkhart, Kan. She died May 31, 2007.
He is survived by his son, Clyde Ronald and his wife Karen of Burrton, four grandchildren, Rhonda, Christina, Amy and Allen and five great grandchildren.
Graveside service with Navy Honors will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at the Elkhart Cemetery, Elkhart, Kan.
Memorial gifts may be made to either Church of God in Stratton or Elkhart Church of God in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
