Albert Truax Obituary
Age: 74 • Burlington
Albert E. Truax, 74, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016 at the Starr Farm Nursing Center. He was born in Wareham, MA on July 13, 1942 and was the son of Henry and Hazel (Rollins) Truax. He was a welder at VT Structural Steel and last worked at Reliance Steel in Colchester. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and conversing about any number of subjects, both globally and locally. He married the former Gloria Bessette in 1969 and was a devoted husband and father. She predeceased Albert in 2006. He leaves two sons: David Bessette and Cory Simpson, both of Essex Jct., eight grandchildren, his brothers and sisters: Carol, Robert, Nilene, Jeanette and Mary and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Services will be held on Fri., Sept. 9, at 1p.m.
in Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Chapel, 97 Elmwood Ave. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Jericho. Visitation is on Fri. from 12 noon until the services.

To the family of Al,
Al was a good friend and co-worker at Vt. Structural Steel, and I always enjoyed joking around with him. Al was an excellent welder and personally did some welding work for me. May you rest in peace, my friend.

To the family of Al Truax, he will be deeply missed. When visiting my Mom at Starr Farm I would spend time with Al talking about our days of fishing together. It would take his mind off the pain. I know he loved his family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
