Arline Hunt Obituary
Morgan - Arline "Pat" Brush Hunt peacefully left us on May 1, 2018 with her family close. Born Arline CampBrush in New York City on January 23, 1928, she grew up in West Hartford, CT, graduating from UVM in1949 where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. For many decades she was her Alumni
Class of 1949 Secretary. She married Paul Hunt and moved to the Northeast Kingdom where they raised three sons, Gerry, Donald and Andy. For much of her life she was a newspaper reporter including work for the Burlington Free Press. She was an income tax professional for over 30 years with a practice in Newport. Her career covered many interests including years of service to local, state and national boards of education, was well known in political circles throughout the state, and was an avid golfer, well known
for her leadership in Ladies State Days around Vermont.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Morgan United Church in Morgan, VT. The full obituary and online condolences may be shared at www.curtis-britch.com.

Dear Don, Andy and all the family: So sorry to read yesterday in the Chronicle about your Mom's passing. I know she recently had health issues, but what a life she lived up to that point! You were blessed with a long life with your Mom, and I'm sure your many memories of her will sustain you in the near future and bring smiles to your faces the rest of your lives. Sorry to hear of Pat's death. I've known Pat since we lived in the same dorm at UVM in the 40's. Our friendship went on as we raised our families to golf games, our annual lunch at tax time and occasional visits. I will miss her - it was so good to have known her.

I was so sorry to hear that your Mom had passed away. She was a special lady who was always welcoming to all when they stopped by.
Her extra sleeping quarters were open to one and all who were in the area for golf tournaments etc.
She had many friends and will be missed by all

Don and Andy, we are sorry to learn of your Mom's death. We remember many December up in Inland Pond playing games and eating. Not to mention fly fishing in the spring. She was a great woman and you have our heartfelt condolences. The Hirss Kids
