I think of you all the time, and still have your picture near my bed, so I can say good night, and good morning to you. Went to see you to day with grandpa. left you your rose and a smilly face. dear Chad, I cannot believe in the next like 24-30 hours that it has been a year. It feels just like yesterday when we got that call. I still think about you a lot, we ALL do. It's so hard to say goodbye to someone that you love, and that's why I still haven't said it. It's hard when I have to close my eyes sometimes to really think about what your voice sounded like....I don't want to not remember everything we've gone through. If I can keep on holding on, maybe I can keep my heart from knowing that your gone! We ALL love you and miss you Chad! I for one will never forget you!

I'm shocked that I am just hearing about this, I knew Chad from high school at BHS, and to lose someone so soon before their time is awful. My heart goes out to your family. God bless you all, and remember to talk to him everyday, he'll hear you, and he'll smile.

It has been almost 8 weeks since you left and since you left it has been sad for me and for everybody. I know i will get through it but i will never forget you and all our talks and long walks and staying up late watching movies and you making me go in a stranger's car with you because she had a rabbit cage for Thumper. I miss you so much. I have so many good memories of us but if i wrote them all down it would take up a billion pages. I love you so much, you were such a great person. You would've done anyting for me and I would've done anything for you. I remember like 2 or 3 years ago you were talking about me being YOUR bestfriend. I know your still with me and all of us but I just want to hold your hand again and give you a big hug and never let you go. I wish I could hear you breathe again and hear your voice. It's been a little over a month since you've been gone and writing to you today is no easier for me than it would have been then. I miss you a lot. When I close my eyes I can recall so many memories of all the fun adventures we had growing up, the jobs we worked at together, the good times, and the bad as well. In so many of my memories you are right there beside me. You were more like a brother to me than my cousin.
