I will always remember David's incredible smile, laughter and his love of cooking shows. He would tell me often of how he got his love of cooking from his father. We talked about his time at GE and he always talked so proudly of his days working in the Naval Ship Yard.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Shirley and his family.

As a Veteran I would always take a moment to chat with David as he sat in his wheelchair in front of Dunkin Donuts on Pearl Street across the street from where I work. A very nice gentleman who also respected the fact that I was a Veteran and always waved when he saw me drive by or walking on the street. Just wanted to say that I missed you this morning....and when I shared your passing with the Dunkin Donuts staff and my coworkers at the Department of Labor they were saddened to hear the news. You were a quiet and warm presence. Thank you for your service to our Nation...and thank you for your warm smiles every day. You will be missed. Lloyd
