Not sure what to say?

My belated condolences to Buck's family.

I knew him a long time ago when we grew up across the street from each other in Rahway. He was known as Foster or Timmy back then. We did a lot of things together. We went to the same schools and our families spent time together on the Jersey Shore. Most of the time we just goofed around. But I remember one afternoon when we were watching television and a character named Bucko Bob appeared. We thought Buck would be good nickname--who knows why. Needless to say it stuck. I thought those times would last forever. But we grew up. Buck went to Trinity Pawling where among other things he became a helluva pool player, defeating all comers on his family's pool table. Then Life intervened--college, military, moving. We lost touch after a while.
Buck was a wonderful, loyal friend. And clearly a great husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.

Buck was one of the best human beings I ever knew. I rode every year on the Vt Cross State ride and he together with the rest of the cowboys provided much entertainment and humor to us all. I never had so much fun ever. He was larger than life and it's hard to believe he's gone. I hope he's riding Echo with all the trail riding friends gone before him. Happy trails Buck! My heartfelt sympathy to the whole family for your loss. I'll never forget him. If my husband and I weren't traveling across the country with our horses headed back to Vt for the summer I would have been there with Connie for the celebration of his life well lived.Bless you all, Susan Adams

So sorry for the loss of "Bucky-Buck" as my son would call him when he was a toddler. The roars of laughter from the porch, two camps down from ours, is something we always treasured on warm summer evenings on Hathaways Point. Buck had such a presence about him. A twinkle in his eyes, a constant grin, a joke always in the making at Community suppers.......Thank you for brightening our lives, Buck.

Buck was the happiest neighbor anyone could have at the camp on Hathaway Point. He was such a great help to my Dad when he needed someone to move a dock or help with a boat or a recalcitrant lawnmower. There were always laughter coming from the camp next door. Buck, you were always a cheerful friend. Your humor and your stories were a huge part of how I remember you. You are missed.

Buck has always been a close friend to the Barker family and his passing leaves us sorrowing for his loss. His personality endeared him to many people and he is a tribute of a good man who loved people. We will miss him terribly but have so many good memories and stories that he will not be forgotten.

My deepest regards to the entire Orton family.

I was fortunate to know and play a few golf rounds with the "Big Man"..... but until now never knew his first name was " Foster"? Bet he'd get a chuckle if his fellow golf competitors heckled "Nice worm Burner "Foster".
Suppose all things known/ considered, and how golf buddies conspire, we could have generously dubbed him "Aussie" after the Australian pilsner Beer "Foster".....He'd like that taste!
Let's raise a frothy pitcher to celebrate a Great Man!
See you at Tee Time "Buck".............

Blessings
