Reba Ballard Obituary
Dundee, NY/ Milton, VT - Reba Dorthea Sanderson Ballard, age 95, died on September 10, 2018.
Reba was born in Milton, to Raymond W. & Hallie B. (Mitchell) Sanderson in 1923 and graduated from Milton High School in 1939 at the age of 16.
She was a loving wife to John Lincoln Ballard for 64 years.
She is survived by her 6 children, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother Ivan R. Sanderson of Milton, VT.
Honoring her wishes there will be no prior calling hours. A joint graveside service with Military Honors will be held in Milton Village Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dundee Children's Center, 62 Main St. or to the Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837

To the Family of Reba and John,
She has gone from a finite existence to an infinite existence in Jesus Christ our Lord. They are not dead but are both alive with Christ, and the whole company of heaven. The last time we saw John and Reba was at a lunch given by a mutual distant cousin Duel Ballard and his wife Nathalie, at their summer home in North Hero Vermont. John started a discussion on politics not knowing? that Duel and Nat were very strong Republicans. Linda and I felt like were in a war zone. John was having a high old time. I am not so sure how Reba felt? Soon after when my wife Linda Sanderson Ballard I were married Loren Sanderson my wife's Dad stopped to visit Raymond mentioned to Loren that all the Sanderson'swere becoming Ballard's!
I had talk to John years before his illness about family genealogy. Loren and John were born on the same day. We will pray for Reba this coming Sunday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in St. Alban's, Vt.
Linda and I live on Sanderson Road in Milton/ Noo not all Sanderson's have become Ballard's. God Bless you all now and always. the Rev. James Ballard and Linda Sanderson Ballard
