ROBERT NORMANDIN

ROBERT NORMANDIN - WINOOSKI - Robert Normandin, 75, passed away on April 13, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on June 21, 1939, in Colchester, to Edmund and Lillian (Russin) Normandin. He attended St. Francis Xavier School and High School. He worked as a pipe insulator out of Albany, N.Y., Union Local 40, until his retirement. Bob was loved by everyone who knew him. The last few years, he took up playing bingo which he loved. Left to cherish his memory are Maurice Boulerice, whom shared a home with Bob for many years; brother, Raymond and wife, Carol Normandin, of Colchester; sister, Geneva and husband, Walter Bergeron, of Colchester; brother-inlaw, Dillon Wallace; several nephews, nieces, extended family, and countless friends. The family wishes to thank VNA nurse Betsy for her compassionate care. Special thanks to all that helped with Bob at home, especially Sheryl Renedino, Alan, Patti DeMarinis, and Michael Bezio a special friend. Bob was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Louie and wife, Dorothy, Paul and wife, Doris, and Donald Normandin; three sisters, Florence and husband, Adrien McCarthy, Loretta Wallace, and Leona and husband, Lester Wells. Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the Lavigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St., Winooski. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015, at St. Francis Xavier Church, Winooski.
