Uncle Tommy,
Thanks for being a fun uncle and sharing your joy of song and dance and laughter with your young niece. Thank you for sharing your prized paintings with me as an adult with that wonderful look of pride and accomplishment on your face. I will remember you as a gentle soul and pure of heart. You appreciated life's greatest simple pleasures: a hand-in-hand walk in the sunshine, a soda pop on the porch, a backyard swing. A good meal, some Old Spice, and a beer at Rosie's. Now I would like to think of you in heaven dancing a waltz with Grandpa again and all the pretty girls, too!

Dear Tom,
You have taught our family such valuable lessons. Many who do not even realize the value of those in which we were invested in and taught to follow.Always be kind. Never take for granted what you are able to do and what you have been given. Learn to laugh!! Look at the simple things in life they are the most valuable lessons that you will learn, We will all love, miss and remeber those precious moments. Love Wanda

I will forever remember Uncle Tommy with his twinkling clear blue eyes and mischievous grin! Such a sweet, sweet man. I just know that he is in heaven eating "hair-pin" pie with "Eddy" and the rest of his loving family!

My thoughts and prayers are with my Uncle "Tom" Hier, brother to my father, Evertt Hier. I have fomd memories of our frequent visits with him at my grandparents house on School Street in Bristol. Uncle Tom was blessed with many special qualities, a happy spirit.....which was expressed in his love for music, in his beautiful smile, contagious laughter, and his "secret" love for hugs! But most of all for his loving and pure heart. My memories of him will last my entire lifetime. I believe his soul is now free, he is surrounded by loved ones, and at peace. Bless you, Uncle Tom.
