PATTI (HARLAN) STARKEL Patti (Harlan) Starkel, 70, of Augusta, KS, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024, at home. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2024, at St. James Catholic Church, Augusta, KS. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Augusta, KS. Patti was born in Junction City, Kansas on April 28, 1954, to the late Aleen (Rash) and Richard Harlan. She worked as a CNA and in social services at nursing homes for most of her life. She really enjoyed animals of any kind. On January 29, 1986, she married William "Bill" Starkel in Wichita, KS and he survives. She is also survived by: her son, Patrick Harlan of Augusta; brothers, Sam Harlan of Camdenton, MO; and Rick Harlan of Augusta; and grandchildren, Wyatt and Allie Harlan. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Harlan, and sister, Pam Daniels. Memorial donations to Kansas Humane Society 3313 N Hillside Wichita, Kansas 67219.
