Barbara A. "Barb" Arblaster

1956 - 2025

Barbara A. "Barb" Arblaster, 69, of Slippery Rock, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 28, 2025, at AHN Wexford, following a battle with cancer since 2018.
Barb was born in Grove City, on April 30, 1956, to Martin M. and Leona I. (McCurdy) Wimer. She married David S. Arblaster on July 12, 1975.
Barb was a graduate of Slippery Rock High School in 1974 and a member of the Transformation Church, Grove City.
She retired in 2004 from Dr. H. Martin Wrigley's office where she was the office manager. Barb spent 25 years of her career in medical office management.
Also, Barb had her own Etsy shop where she sold custom baby clothes known as "Handmade by Baba." Baba was a name given to her by her grandchildren.
She mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, knitting, crafts, and her dog, Harper.
Barb is survived by her husband, Dave at home; a daughter, Jessica L. (Mark) Suchta of Upper St. Clair, Pa.; a son, John D. (Mary) Arblaster of Slippery Rock; six grandchildren, Garrett Arblaster, Nathan and Alexander Suchta, Audrey and Wyatt Arblaster and Aaron Suchta; and three brothers, Donald (Diane) Wimer of Minnesota, Martin Wimer of Greenville and Randall (Cindy) Wimer of Hermitage.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
ARBLASTER - Visitation hours for Barbara A. "Barb" Arblaster, who died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.
Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at the funeral home.
