Benjamin Bruno Obituary
He was born Jan. 4, 1948, in Butler, the son of the late Benjamin Bruno Sr. and Margaret (Torosi) Bruno.
Ben was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church. He graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor's degree in education and taught for several years. He later earned his RN degree from Butler County Community College and worked as a nurse in Florida until his retirement.
Ben enjoyed trivia, reading and watching classic television shows. He had a deep love for animals and took great joy in spoiling every cat and dog he met.
Surviving are his sister, Judith M. Wilson of Butler; three nieces, Robin Butler, Linda Bombara and Peggy Rekich, all of Butler; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a nephew.
BRUNO - Friends of Benjamin F. Bruno Jr., who died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until the time of the blessing service at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 12, at the funeral home, with Deacon Jim Shope officiating.
Private interment will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.
