My condolences go out to the Carney family. I had Mr. Carney in 3rd grade, when he first came to Penn Elementary. He was one of the best teachers I ever had, and an even better person. He always had a great sense of humor and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Carney's class was across the hall from mine when I was in 2nd grade. I used to love when he'd come tell us jokes. He made my days brighter, he was a wonderful man.
