David Lowery Obituary
Born in New Castle, he moved to Sarasota in 1985 from Butler.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, he owned and operated for over 20 years Manasota Optics of Sarasota.
He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Alma Lowery.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Sarasota; his son, Jonah (Jill) Lowery of Bradenton, Fla.; his daughter, Jennifer Lowery of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; his sisters, Judy (David) Todd of Butler and Karen (John) Tinstman of Bradenton; his grandchildren, Sarah and Allie Lowery; and several nieces and nephews.
LOWERY - Services for David A. Lowery, who died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Tidewell Hospice Inc. or to a charity of your choice.

To my Lowery cousins and their families: So saddened to hear of the passing of my cousin David. The Lowery clan spent many good times together visiting Butler during our childhood. David was the baby in the group. Haven't been together for a long time,
but will not forget how special David was. Hope my brother, Bill Lowery, is there to greet him. The two guys will always be in our hearts.
