Doug we would like to say goodbye,

To a wonderful and decent guy.

Lori talked about you everyday,

She will miss the things you had to say.

She is glad that she came back to PA,

She enjoyed your company day to day.

Lori's kids looked up to you,

And the things you taught them how to do.

We know that you are now okay,

We will all be reunited again someday.

Dear Mom,

It has been one week since Doug went to be with God. I am so glad he got to know you the way I do. I am just sorry he missed out on the rest of the family. Doug was a wonderful man who had a lot of love to give. Know that Doug did love you. We are all so saddened by our loss but we can take joy in knowing Doug is in Heaven with God.

I love you

Love Lori

Dear Daddy,

We lost a great man the day Doug went to join God in Heaven. I will miss him so very very much. This past year Doug and I have become extremely close. I valued his opinion and trusted his judgement. I relied on him every day. He used to come to my house every day at least 4 times a day. Little Paul, Vicki, Becca, Andy, and Jonathan all loved him. He made sure the kids were part of him. He was a great uncle as well as a great brother. Doug will live in the hearts of those who met him. You didn't even have to know Doug to love him. He would give a stranger the clothes off his back. He loved God and knew the Bible like the back of his hand. He loved you and treasured you Dad. More than anyone realized. Doug will be missed so very much but we must remember,Doug would want us to go on ...for us and for him. He was the most unselfish person I know. He put everyone else above him. There are so many things I want to say about and to Doug, but those will have to wait for another day.

You were Dougs Hero, and you still are mine.

I love you Daddy.

I love you Doug.

Eugene and Pauline,

I'm so very sorry to hear about Doug's passing. I remember him teaching Joey and I in Sunday School many years ago. He was a great Christian teacher. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

Eugene, Lori, and the entire family,

I am extremely shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Doug. I have many childhood memories. I am just at a loss for words. I will keep you and the entire family in my thoughts and prayers and may god guide you to understand and accept this loss in your life.

Although i only new Doug for a while, i will miss him greatly. i will remember his "funny jokes" and how he would pick on all of us kids. He was a great father and a great friend. I'm sorry for the familys loss, and it will take a great deal of time to get over losing a loved one that was so young and youthful. To Dougie, your daddy was a great man, and i know that it will be hard, but you will always have your daddy by your side, no matter what. Everyone will be looking out for you. To Angel, Doug will miss you and you'll miss him. Don't let this get in the way of you and Dougie, he needs you as much as you need him. I love you , and we'll miss you very much. From the bottom of my heart.

Doug was in my graduating class at Mars High School (1983). Although I only saw him once since high school, I often wondered what had become of him and I was, and still am, schocked and extremely saddened to hear of his passing. Doug and I were friends in school and I remember visiting his house on Sterrett Street in Valencia. I wish to extend my sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
