Eleanor Forster Obituary
She was born April 27, 1941, in Rimersburg, and was the daughter of the late John F. Forster and Grace A. (Vogt) Forster.
Eleanor graduated from East Brady Area High School in 1959 and Robert Morris Business School in 1960. She then worked at Butler Memorial Hospital medical records for 44 years.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bradys Bend.
She enjoyed reading, but most of all she enjoyed her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Eleanor is survived by her two sisters, Mary Ann (Louis) Walter and Lois (Donald) Beckett; and two sisters-in-law, Sylvia Forster and Becky Forster.
She had four nephews and three nieces, Mary Lou (Louie) Calandrella, Amy (Dan) Sevic, Mark (Stacy) Walter, Lucas (Liz) Forster, Eric (Missy) Forster, Anne (Matt) Stanton and Michael (Heather) Beckett; and five great-nieces and six great-nephews, Joshua and David Calandrella, Ryan and Cloe Sevic, Rachel (Kodey) Koscianski, Isabella, Tabitha, Gabriel and Vanessa Forster, and Benjamin and Morgan Stanton. There are also many other people who called her Aunt Eleanor.
She also leaves behind her best friends, Patti Mulligan, Linda B., Barb Calderwood, Barb Ealy, Cathy Gold and Nancy Keiffer; and a godson, Michael Mulligan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John R. and William F. Forster; one sister, Margretta C. Forster; and a great-nephew, Brandon M. Beckett.
FORSTER - Family and friends of Eleanor G. Forster, who died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 832 East Brady Road, Cowansville.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bradys Bend, with the Rev. Victor Baguna officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church.
Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.
The family asks that any memorial contributions be made in Eleanor's name to St. Patrick Catholic Church.

The Calderwood family is so very sorry to hear of the passing of Eleanor. She was a treasured friend of our mother, and she will be dearly missed. May she rest in peace. Prayers for all whom she loved and those who loved her during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about Eleanor. I LOVED her! I am really going to miss her. I talked to her on phone not long ago. She sent me a text November 16th and at the end of the text she told me she loved me! I will cherish that FOREVER! My heart is sooooo broken! She was such a WONDERFUL lady! She loved my children so much and was "Aunt Eleanor" to them! Rest In Peace (Aunt) Eleanor
