Elsie Sheldone Obituary
Born on Aug. 2, 1935, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Rose Rich Sommariva.
Elsie retired from the Ellwood City School District where she worked in the cafeteria for more than 10 years.
She was a Catholic. She enjoyed reading and cooking. Her most cherished time was spent with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her three sons, James Buffone and Ralph Buffone, both of Florida, and Robert Sheldone of Beaver; her daughter, Leslie Ann (Tim) Rough of Ellwood City; her former husband, Robert Sheldone of Ellwood City; and her five grandchildren, Samantha and Sianna Rough, and Eric, Kreg and Nicholas Buffone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Sommariva.
Sheldone - The friends of Elsie Ann (Sommariva) Sheldone, who passed away Monday, July 7, 2014, will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery in Butler.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

To a lovely sister-in-law and Aunt. Always so gracious, loving, thoughtful,great cook and spunky Italian that came all wrapped up in a 5'tall vivacous Beauty. She dearly loved her children. Jim, Ralph, Leslie and Bobby carry her warmth and love with you each and every day.

We were childhood friends,so long ago!I have not seen her for years but we had such fun together when we were children and into our teen years. You never forget your first friends!
