Gary R. Kistner
Gary R. Kistner, 66, of Fombell died Friday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.
Born Jan. 16, 1941, in York, he was the son of Mary Ellen Forbush Kistner of Zelienople and the late Jacob "Jack" Kistner, who died May 27, 2007.
He was a Navy Veteran.
He had worked as a real estate agent in Florida and had been a captain of a cruise ship in the Caribbean Sea.
He was an avid golfer and he loved boating and reading.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Tammy Matye of Powell, Tenn., and Deanna Kistner of Williamsburg, Ky.; two aunts and uncles, Thelma and John Krepps of Ellwood City, and Chance and Ella Mae Forbush of New Castle; and two aunts, Carrie Cowan of Beaver and Betty Kay Wright of Harmony. Also surviving are a dear friend, Lorraine Alfonso of Ellwood City, three grandchildren and many cousins.
KISTNER - Friends of Gary R. Kistner, who died Friday Oct. 26, 2007, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles W. Woodman, pastor of North Sewickley Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will follow at the North Sewickley Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Zelienople Area Public Library, 227 S. High St., Zelienople, PA 16063.

Gary was a classmate and I have many fond memories of him during those school years, especially during high school english classes with Miss Stout. My condolences to his family and friend on their loss.
