Geraldine Wigton Obituary
She was born April 18, 1944, in Camden, N.J., to Walter and Jean (Przytula) Kozlowski.
She graduated from Trenton State College in 1966 and taught senior high math until 1981, when she became a full-time mom.
Gerry loved her family, the Jersey Shore, the women of her Bible study and all the people at the Butler "Y."
She is survived by her husband, Bill Wigton; daughters, Kathryn (Derrick) Howryla and Jessica (Ian) Meeks; grandsons, Ethan and Seth Howryla, with baby Meeks on the way; sister, Diane (David) Hurt, of Bluffton, S.C.; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Jean Kozlowski.
WIGTON - A visitation for Geraldine Louise (Kozlowski) Wigton, who died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, will be held from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish, Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler, 16002.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gerry's name to the Butler YMCA at 339 N. Washington, Butler PA 16001, or a charity of choice.
All who knew Gerry are encouraged to share memories and upload photos to her unique remembrance page at www.thompson-miller.com.

Dr. Bill, kathryn and Jessica, my heart is saddened to hear of Gerry passing. I will miss her beautiful bold personality. We would treat each other in celebration of our birthdays. Gerry would share her love of her family with pictures I will miss her excitement when sharing the stories behind each photo. She loved so many of us and you knew with the cards she sent with a special message.
I love you my friend and I know we will meet again. Heaven is glowing in orange!

For over 60 years, Gerry has been my friend. Supportive and caring, I will miss her cards, photos, e-mails, and yearly visits. Bill, Kathryn and Jessica my deepest sympathy for your loss. Gerry was a wonderful light in my life! For years we enjoyed weekly conversations over coffee. Much laughter, sorting out our lives, and occasional tears. I will miss her greatly, but look forward to joining her in heaven.

Glenn and I are so very sad to hear of Gerry's passing. I am so thankful to have seen her about a month ago. We had great conversation and laughter, in Jessica's backyard and enjoyed the Tennessee sun. She will be missed. Our prayers are for everyone else in her family. Our hearts are sad with you.
