Janet Sychak Obituary
She was born Aug. 18, 1937, in Lyndora, and was the daughter of the late Wallace and Marie Myers Huslinger Sychak.
Janet at the age of 4, suffered a very high temperature for four or five days. The doctors think that caused severe brain damage. She only finished fourth grade.
In some areas of life, she functioned very well, but in others, she had major problems.
Once she knew your name and she befriended you, you would receive birthday and Christmas cards.
She loved to shop, eat and play bingo.
She has one surviving brother, Wallace Sychak and his wife, Jean, of Camp Hill; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents; and her two stepbrothers, Robert and Donald Huslinger.
SYCHAK - There will be no visitation for Janet Marie Sychak, who died Friday, April 13, 2018. Services will be held at the discretion of the family.
Arrangements by Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
Donations may be made to PARC Productions, 100 N. Washington St., Butler, PA 16001, Good Samaritan Hospice of Concordia, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA. 16023, or to Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 107 Sunnyview Circle, Butler, PA 16001.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family of Janets. She was such a wonderful, kind, and caring lady and I sure miss seeing her at Sunnyview. She was my Aunts Marys roomate and we all loved her. If I made homemade foods to take to my aunt, I always made sure Janet got some as well. She was so tickled that I thought about her to. R.I.P Janet, and God be with you all. You sure will be missed Elaine Tack

I didn't know Janet but lived in her neighborhood. I used to see her walking to the bus stop to go to her job. May God be with the family.
