Jason S. Thompson
Jason S. Thompson, 30, of Buffalo Township passed away at noon Friday while in the company of family members at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Jason was born in Natrona Heights on Aug. 25, 1981. He is the son of Karen L. (Burd) and Ronald L. Thompson of Buffalo Township.
He was a landscaper for a number of landscaping companies in the area. Jason enjoyed listening to music, working on cars, playing video games and golfing.
Jason is survived by his parents; his wife, Jennifer A. (Hatfield) Thompson of Buffalo Township, his three children, his son, Dyllen S. Thompson, and his two daughters, Paige E. Thompson and Alexus Thompson; his two sisters, Lisa M. (Mike) Berkobin of Buffalo Township and Heather A. Thompson of Buffalo Township; his paternal grandmother, Jo Ann Wagner of Buffalo Township; his maternal grandmother, Joan Morrone of Buffalo Township; and his step-maternal grandmother, Gwen Burd of Vandergrift.
Jason was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Lottie Rotolo; two grandfathers, Lynn Thompson and Kenneth Burd; and his uncle, Donald Thompson.
THOMPSON - Family and friends of Jason S. Thompson, who passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Redmond Funeral Home, 524 High St. Freeport. A funeral service will be at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sarver at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Emery L. Barnett officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jason's children, c/o PNC Bank 620 South Pike Road, Sarver, PA 16055.
