Joseph David Iman
Joseph David Iman, 65, of Pittsburgh died Thursday in Shadyside Hospital after a long illness.
Born Jan. 4, 1943, he was the son of the late Ardell and Irene Easly Iman.
Joey devoted much of his life caring for his mother. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as chief of maintenance for Moose Lodge 46.
"Uncle Joey" had a "Heart of Gold" toward his 13 nieces and nephews, 20 great-nieces and nephews, two great-great nieces, one nephew, and his close companion, Jeff Dodson.
He is survived by a loving sister, Margaret, and brothers, Stanley and Robert.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Bessie, and brothers, George, Jackie and James.
IMAN - To honor the request of Joseph David Iman, who died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, there will be no viewing or services. Funeral arrangements are being handled by D'ALESSANDROFUNERALHOME& CREMATORY, Lawrenceville.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American CancerSociety.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of our cousin Joey. We always thought of him as a devoted son to our Aunt Irene and was grateful for the wonderful care he gave her and most certainly others that he loved. Your family is in our prayers though this difficult time.
