Kayla Messinger Obituary
Kayla Marie Messinger, 26, of Jacksonville, Fla., went into God's loving arms on Thursday after a terrible accident.
Kayla was born in Butler on July 20, 1984, and she moved to Jacksonville, Fla., in 2009.
Kayla lived her life doing unto others as she would have wanted done unto her.
Left to cherish her memories are her mother and father, Catherine and Terry Steffy; her grandparents, John and Helen Ferko; her sister, Mandy; her brother-in-law, Ray; her brother, Steve; her nephews, Jerry, Rider, Drayke and Gavin; her nieces, Phoenix and Emma; and her friends, way too many to name.
She will be greatly missed, but she will be with us in our hearts, flashing that big beautiful smile.

Kayla was vibrant, caring, extremely witty, always saw the best in everyone, and a beautiful person. The world may never know another person like her, she touched so many peoples' lives and was loved by all who knew her. I am honored to call Kayla my friend, my sister, and my soulmate. No one could ever replace her. Every moment, every laugh, every memory is engraved on my heart and soul; Kayla's brilliant smile and contagious laughter will be cherished forever.
