Michael “Eagle” Bowser Obituary

Michael S. "Eagle" Bowser, 76, of Butler, formerly of Kittanning, passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 12, 1949, in Kittanning, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Dorothea (Innes) Bowser.
Eagle proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He worked and retired from AK Steel. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a sports fan. He enjoyed every moment spent with his family.
He is survived by daughter, Margaret "Maggie" (Nic) Gaillot, of Butler; son, Ben (Michelle), of Gibsonia; grandchildren, Luke, Shelby, William, Eamon and George; sisters, Dorothea Jageman and Lillian Bowser, both of Ford City; and brothers, Stephen (Pam) Bowser, of Kittanning, and Jeffrey (Sharon) Bowser, of Delaware. He also is survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Eagle was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah (Vojna) Bowser; sister, Suzanne Rumbaugh; brother, Charles A. Bowser Jr.; and in-laws, Ronald Rumbaugh, Annette Biggers and Timothy Berard.
BOWSER - Visitation for Michael S. "Eagle" Bowser, who died Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at MANTINI FUNERAL HOME, 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City.
Burial with committal will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Ford City.
The family suggests donations in his honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
