Michael Roskovski Obituary
Michael W. "Mickey" Roskovski, 67, formerly of Butler, died May 18 in Orlando, Fla.
Born April 18, 1941, he was a son of Vera Canan Roskovski and the late Michael Roskovski.
He was a 1959 graduate of Butler High School.He then enlisted in the Navy and served in the submarine division.
In addition to his mother, Mickey is survived by three sons and their wives, Shawn and Rebecca, Scott and Stephanie and Derek and Dana Roskovski, all of Butler; five grandchildren, Chloe, Canan, Jacob, Sophie and Andrew; his companion, Sharron Charvola of Florida; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
ROSKOVSKI - Friends and family of Michael W. "Mickey" Roskovski, who died Sunday, May 18, 2008, will gather from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St. Memorial services will follow at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Rowe officiating.

My condolences to Mickeys' family. It's been a long time and today his obit popped up on my screen. He told the best stories, I tried to get him to write about his life. I have never met anyone before that made me laugh like he did. I will cherish his memory always. My heart is very sad today.

Sorry to hear of Micks passing. I haven't been in contact with Mick for a very long time. We where good friend in high school and his early days in the Navy. I was stationed in NYC and he rode with me to Butler on the weekends. I have to tell one good story. I would sneak him off the hospital grounds in the hood of my 59 VW.
