Molly Hespenheide Obituary
Molly Jo Bender Hespenheide, 40, and her unborn baby, Eli James Hespenheide, of Columbiana, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday at their home.
Molly was born Feb. 8, 1973, in East Liverpool, Ohio, daughter of Ronald S. and Sylvia Mae Porter Bender.
Molly was employed by Akron General Hospital as a clinical nurse specialist. She graduated from Edison North High School in 1991, received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Malone College in 1995, and furthered her education by receiving a masters of nursing from Kent State.
In addition to her parents, Molly and Eli are also survived by their husband and father, James W. Hespenheide, who she married July 3, 2010; one sister and aunt, Sarah (Joseph) Pelegreen of Hopedale, Ohio; one father- and mother-in-law and paternal grandparents, Fred W. and Christine A. Hespenheide of Mars; one brother-in-law and uncle, Jason Graham of Butler; one sister-in-law and aunt, Jessica (Jason) Eisenreich of Cranberry Township; and one sister-in-law and aunt, Jennifer (Josh) Brudney of Middlesex Township. Molly also leaves behind her niece and nephew, Anthony and Mikayla Pelegreen, along with several other nieces and nephews and cousins of Eli.
HESPENHEIDE - Visitation for Molly and Eli Hespenheide, who died Thursday, April 11, 2013, will be held from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, 701 Findley St., in Toronto, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bell Chapel United Methodist Church, 3419 State Route 213, Steubenville, Ohio, with the Rev. Jeff Proya officiating.
Burial will follow in Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made in Molly and Eli's name to NAMI of Summit County, PO Box 462, Cuyahoga Falls 44222-0462.

I am so deeply sorry for your family's loss. I have not known Molly long but she was treating me and helped me so much. She seemed to be such a loving, kind person. I am thinking of her and her precious baby boy and your family is in my prayers.

Dear James, Mr. and Mrs. Bender and family,
My heart goes out to you in your loss of your beloved Molly and Eli. Molly took care of me when I was a patient years ago at AGMC. She was very supportive of me after I became a chaplain there in 2004. I will miss her bright, smiling face. Akron General is not the same without her.
Just as she shone in this life, I believe, she is shining in Heaven along with baby Eli. They will wait to welcome you there where it will seem as though no time has passed-just like meeting an old friend.
My prayers are with you as you grieve their loss. May God be especially close to you through this difficult time.
