I am at a loss for words. Nancy and I worked very closely when I lived in Pittsburgh and she was one of the most pleasant people I have ever met. Her smile and positive attitude toward life and living were contagious.

Please except my sympathy in the loss of Nancy. Although I was gone from the borough for a long time, I still remember Nancy at Avalon High School. I was in Kathy's grade at school until I left in 1972.

Nancy and I grew up together in skydiving. She was a great friend and I will miss her so much. I wish I had told her what a friend she was while I had the chance. Blue Skies Nancy.

Our condolences and sympathy to Nancy's family. My husband Bruce and I had the pleasure of meeting Nancy when we had started sky-diving at Beaver Valley Skydivers. She made a big impression on me and I was glad I got to know her. We will miss her...

Bill & I were so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. We were just with her on Sun. at Skydive Ricks. She was having a great time. We were talking and laughing as she helped me with the manifest board. She was on Bill's tandem load and came down laughing and talking about her next jump. Bill had known Nancy for over 20 years and I had known her for about 10. She will be missed by all of us. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

All of us in Dollar Bank's real estate division were very saddened to learn of Nancy's tragic death. I personally knew and worked with Nancy for nearly twenty years. She was a consummate professional and fine person who was always a joy to work with. She will be sorely missed as a business associate and as a friend.

To Nancy's Family & Friends: what a loss you are feeling right now, but take comfort in knowing that others who knew her grieve with you and share your loss. I used to jump at Beaver Valley Skydivers about 10 years ago and know what a close-knit family of friends that she had there and will miss her.

I only met Nancy once when she came to Detroit for computer training classes for Trizec, but I spoke with her several times a month regarding building leases for Gateway. She was always laughing and had a very upbeat attitude regardless of how her day was going. She will be greatly missed by all.

Nancy:
We will miss your undying love for our sport.
We will miss your willingness to help our students learn.
We will miss the way you put up with smoke that you couldn't stand in order to have wings and beers with your friends.
We will miss your sense of humor.
We will miss you.
Love and Blue Skies,
Mary Cavolo-Burt

I'm really very sad to hear about Nancy. Nancy was one of the people who originally taught me to skydive. I did my first 4-way formation in 1993 and Nancy made it happen because she was awesome. Nancy has a great heart and was always concerned for everyone's safety. She liked to see new jumpers make accomplishments and advance in the sport. That was just her way. She was always there to give encouragement and advice. Nancy's laugh could always be heard at the dropzone. She was truly the life of the party. Blue skies Nancy!
