Paula J. Leone

1930 - 2021

Paula J. Leone, 83, of Boyers, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021, in the comfort of her home and family.

Paula was born on Oct. 30, 1937, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Paul W. and the late Elsie M. Taylor Miller.

Paula worked various jobs in her younger years, but spent most of her life as a devoted housewife. Although she spent many of her later years with a physical disability, Paula lived a life full of love, and provided many joyous holidays, family gatherings, and home-cooked meals to her family.

Paula is survived by her husband, Edward Leone of Boyers, whom she married on June 5, 1959. Eddie was her loving husband, and spent many years as her caretaker, which enabled Paula to live a full and meaningful life at home. Together, they enjoyed traveling, watching the wildlife at home, and spending time with their family and friends.

Also surviving are three sons, Tom Leone, Joe (Chris) Leone and Dan (Sue) Leone; four grandchildren, Nicolas, Erica, Haley and Justin; two stepgrandchildren, Lauren and Carlie; her brother, P. Edward (Ethel) Miller of Connecticut; and several nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her special cousin and friend, Judy Miller.

Paula was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn; and her brother, Robert.

LEONE - Family and friends of Paula J. Leone, who died Saturday, June 19, 2021, will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.

Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dan Miller officiating.

Burial will be in Eau Claire Cemetery.
