Robert T. "Bob" Higgins, 46, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021.
He was born in Butler on Oct. 9, 1974, to Patricia (King) Higgins and the late Thomas Higgins.
Bob was a graduate of Butler Area High School in 1993 where he played baseball. He attended Butler County Community College.
Bob was a devoted son, husband, and father who loved to spend quality time with his family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, R.C. racing, magic cards, and listening to Led Zeppelin. Bob played golf in a league at Highland golf course. He enjoyed working as a surface grinder at Oberg Industries Inc. Bob was a member and attended Community Alliance Church. He was known for having a huge heart for people and was loved by many.
He was the devoted husband of Dlynn Higgins since their marriage on Sept. 11, 1999; father of Thomas "Tommy" Higgins, Tanner Higgins and Ty Higgins; brother of Kristin (Ryan) Phillips and Allison (Nick) Belik; uncle of Trey, Marley, Zoe, Madison, Michael and Mykenzie. Bob is also survived by a large and loving family.
Higgins - Friends of Robert T. "Bob" Higgins, who died on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, in Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler.
His funeral service will immediately follow in the church.

Neighbor, coworker & friend. Doesn't seem to cover it enough. I got so see so much of your goofiness, bad jokes, kids birthday's etc. It was such a privilege my friend a great privledge Heaven has gained one very special angel. Fly high my friend.

Memories of summer days playing 4 square in Mrs Higgins (his grandma) driveway with him, his sister and cousin. Thought he was so high tech in those days because he had a Walkman to listen to music as he mowed his parents and grandmothers lawn To his whole family Condolences Haven't seen Bobby in years, but you and him are in the hearts and minds of many

So sorry to here of Bobby `s passing. I have fond Memories of Bob as a precious young boy playing for our baseball team in S Butler. My condolences To his mother and his entire family. Stay strong!
