Robert Hoover Obituary

Robert H. Hoover, 72, formerly of Middlesex Township, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022, in Leesburg, Fla.
He was the adored husband of Marcy; and the father of Stephanie (Todd) Elder and Robert (Amanda) Hoover Jr.
He was an accomplished chef, who co-owned and operated Hoover's Restaurant in Middlesex Township for years, until his retirement in 2011.
In addition to his wife and children, Robert is survived by his grandchildren, Katelyn and Jillian Hoover, and Jordan and Sydney Elder; a great-grandson, Rowan Elder; two brothers, Benson and Bruce Hoover; and one sister, Susan Kovac.
Robert's greatest joys were spending time with his family, camping and playing cards and games.
Robert was a U.S. Army veteran.
HOOVER - A private memorial for Robert H. Hoover, who died Sunday, April 10, 2022, is being planned for a later date.

Marcie,I just heard about Bob's passing.I am so sorry for your loss.I can certainly relate.Bob's been gone over 2 years now.I was at camp June 21-23 and I saw you on the swing.I was going to stop but I didn't want to bother you.Blessing to you and your family.

We are very sorry to hear about the loss of Bob. We enjoyed his picnics, his food at the restaurant and his company. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. Our deepest sympathies go out to the family.

I'll never forget all the laughs and fun we had working at the restaurant. it was a family affair. Those were the days. Rest in peace Robert. Taken too soon.
