Sandra Lee 'Sandy' Stamm
Sandra Lee "Sandy" Stamm, 61, a resident of Branchton Road in Boyers since 1966, died at 2:21 p.m. Wednesday at United Community Hospital, Grove City.
Born in Grove City, Aug. 18, 1943, she was the daughter of Arthur J. "Red" and Sara E. Schweigert Osborne.
She was a 1961 graduate of Grove City High School and retired in June as a secretary at J.S. McCormick Co. of Boyers after 30 years.
Mrs. Stamm was a member of the Galilean Baptist of Grove City, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and was the church clerk for more than 20 years.
Surviving are her husband, William H. Stamm, whom she married Aug. 23, 1963; two daughters, Mrs. Terry T. (Diane E.) McNabb of Mentor, Ohio, and Mrs. Gerald L. "Jr." (Sally L.) Houston of Grove City; and three grandchildren, Daniel and Joseph McNabb and Brooke A. Houston. Also surviving are two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Wayne L. (Susan A.) Stamm, Mrs. Ralph B. (Dorothy I.) Royer and William J. Raymer and his wife, Joanne, all of Grove City.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Lee Stamm, who died Feb. 26, 1987; and a sister, Velma N. McCarl.
STAMM - Friends of Sandra Lee "Sandy" Stamm, who died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at JAMISON FUNERAL HOME, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. Visitation also will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays at Galilean Baptist Church, where services will follow at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. David Childs, church pastor and the Rev. Larry Burkholder, pastor of Faith Independent Baptist Church of Frostburg, Md., will officiate. Burial will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
