Shirley Belcher Obituary

Shirley M. Craig Belcher, 71, of Mercer, Coolspring Township, passed away at 5:50 a.m. Monday at Avalon Springs, Coolspring Township, after an extended illness.
Born Sept. 15, 1944, in Grove City, she was the daughter of Victor Craig and Louise McKean Craig. She married Thomas Belcher on June 17, 1978. He died April 6, 2015.
She was a member of the Church of Beloved Disciple in Grove City.
Shirley first and foremost enjoyed her family. She also loved her cats, gardening, playing Bingo and going to the casino. Shirley kept her sense of humor throughout her illness.
Shirley is survived by five children, Kimberly, wife of Raymond Hoffman, in Mercer; David Duffy and his wife, Mary, in Barkeyville; Keith Duffy and his wife, Missy, in Cross-lanes, W.Va.; Anita, wife of Bill Gaston, of Erie, Pa.; and Marsha Glenn and her companion, Rick Cameron, of Grove City. She also is survived by two sisters, Deloris Metheney of Meadville and Karen, wife of Melvin Nagy, of Harrisville; and one brother, Victor "Gordie" Craig and his wife, Nanci, in Harrisville.
She also is survived by 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and was waiting on two more great-grandchildren to be born.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister, Patricia Sankey
BELCHER - Visitation for Shirley M. Craig Belcher, who died Monday, June 27, 2016, will be from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer.
Father Michael Allison with the Church of Beloved Disciple officiating. Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Park, Pine Township.
