Lucinda Shefelbine-Sorce Obituary
Cindy was born March 20, 1957, in La Crosse, WI, to Merle and Marie (Manhart) Steele. She graduated from Caledonia High School in 1975, and attended nursing school in Rochester. She worked as a registered nurse; most recently at Valley View Healthcare, Houston, MN. She enjoyed BINGO and going to casinos, and she loved to travel. She married David Sorce February 22, 2020, in Minneapolis, MN.
She is survived by her husband, Dave; children, Dena (Tom) Nimmo, Erica Shefelbine, Sara Hill, and Laura (fiance Alex Muleski) Shefelbine; grandchildren, Levi Moore, Trevor Cole, Aria Parish, and Matthew Nimmo; siblings, Dan (Brenda) Steele, Terry (Wanda) Steele, and Keli Lager and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother in law, Darla and Steve Theobald, and brother in law, Dan Lager.
A Celebration of Life will be at 11 am, Thursday, October 30, at St. Mary's Holy Family Hall. Visitation will be from 10-11 am before the service at the hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia, is assisting the family and online condolences may be given at mccormickfuneralhome.net.
