Mary Simons Obituary
Mary Ellen was born June 14, 1951 in Caledonia, Minnesota, to Francis and Norma (Westman) Simons.
She graduated from Caledonia High School in 1969. She received a BS in sociology from Winona State College in 1973. Mary Ellen had a varied series of work experiences from the St. Paul Police Department, University of Minnesota, Watkins Company, Hal Leonard Company, and later in life was a caregiver in Boulder, CO and then in Sequim, WA. She would spend the last twenty years of her life living in the Neill Hi-Rise in Saint Paul, MN.
Mary Ellen was a part-time sports enthusiast rooting for select local teams (Vikings, Twins, and Gophers).
Mary Ellen is survived by her brothers: Michael of Sparks, NV, and Carl of Everett, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Francis and Norma, and sister: Joan.
