Ace Bevly Walker
Corpus Christi - Another Angel has gained his wings, and he has one amazing welcome crew in Heaven to greet him. Whether you knew him as Big Ace, Big Daddy, Uncle Ace, or the Mayor of Agnes, Ace Bevly Walker will always have a special place in our hearts. Services are Thursday, June 10, 2021 with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm and a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A private family burial will occur at a later date. Reception will immediately follow the funeral service from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at Corpus Christi Auto Auction. Ace married the love of his life, Judith "Judy" Johnson Walker in 1960. They were married 61 years. After marriage in 1960, they moved to San Antonio to work with his uncle in the landscape business. One year later, they returned to Corpus Christi to work in his father's business, Spot Car Sales. In 1961, Ace began Deluxe Auto Parts. In 1989, he sold Deluxe Auto Parts and began Coastal Bend Auction, Deluxe Finance & Deluxe Properties. Ace was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph "Red" Walker and Callie Beatrice Walker; his brother, Harold Walker; his sister, Peggy Jo Walker Walls; his brother, Ralph Huey "Buddy" Walker; and his son, Wade Ashley Walker. Ace is survived by his loving wife, Judy Walker; his sons, Lance (Elva) Walker of Corpus Christi, Texas and Rhett (Jana) Walker of Corpus Christi, Texas; nine grandchildren, Ashley (Weldon) Dietze of Sequin, Texas, Ace (Nicole) Walker of Sattler, Texas, Skyler Walker of Edinburg, Texas, Blaze (Katy) Walker of Edinburg, Texas, Payton (Dylan) Skogman of Wimberley, Texas, Storm (Deanna) Walker of Corpus Christi, Texas, Savannah Walker of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Trace Walker of Corpus Christi, Texas; nine great grandchildren, Walker Dietze, Weston Walker, Waylon Dietze, Summer Walker, Alayna Walker, Grayson Walker, Lilyann Walker, Rayne Skogman, Blair Walker, and soon to be Piper Jo Skogman.
