Alberto Antonio Castillo, age 74, passed away on November 3, 2016, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Alberto was born on July 11, 1942, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Florentino and Anita Castillo. He was a graduate of Miller High School and a proud Buccaneer. He was a parking control supervisor. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Emma Castillo of Corpus Christi, Texas, two daughters, Esmeralda Castillo, Emma Cruz (Martin) both of Corpus Christi, Texas, five sisters: Ramona De Los Santos, Virginia Perez both of Houston, Texas, Gloria Smith of Massachusetts, Guadalupe Flores of Houston, Texas, Mary Jane Bean; four grandchildren: Leslie Gomez, Heather Palacios, Kathleen Gunn, Brett Cruz and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Brett Cruz, Arthur Gomez, Arturo Gomez Jr., Johnny Joe Gomez, Alfred Gomez and Juan Gomez.
