Beverly W. Cain

CAIN Beverly W. Cain, born in Canon City, Colorado, December 9, 1944, died peaceably in her home surrounded by many close family members on Saturday, October 30th, 2010 after bravely battling cancer for three years. Beverly was known to have many talents including gardening, homemaking, and sewing. She was always involved in all of her communities and was loved and respected by all who knew her. For the last 12 years, her involvements included President of Greenwood Forest Homeowners Association, the Home & Garden Club, and the Women's Club. She was also a member of Christchurch Baptist Fellowship in Houston and was a Master Bridge player. Beverly is survived by her devoted and loving husband, LTC (Ret) James R. Cain, Jr.; sister Barbara Porter and brother-in-law Leo Earle Porter; sister Betty Weller and brother-in-law Richard Weller; seven daughters, Sabrina (Allan) Sparkman, Andrea (Mark) Ballantyne, Danielle Elliott, Laura(Daren) Hoelscher, Stephanie(Scott) King, Elizabeth(Ray) Miller, Tina Cain; seventeen grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Fellowship will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 2nd, 2010 at Christchurch Baptist Fellowship of Houston. Memorial Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Beverly will be missed greatly but is now in heaven with her Lord Jesus Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Beverly's name to Christchurch Baptist Fellowship, 12501 Champion Forest Drive, Houston, Texas 77066.
