Billie Cook Obituary

Billie CookCorpus Christi, TXBillie Cook, 64, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, peacefully at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Billie was born on November 24, 1949 to William and Jane Miles. She was a retired elementary school teacher and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will always be remembered for her fearless spirit and contagious smile. She was a tremendous woman of faith and will be missed by her family, as well entire church community, as well as her family. She is survived by her husband, Richard Cook of Corpus Christi, Texas; father, Don Rose of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters, Heather Bentley and Meredith Trullinger; step-daughters, Tammy and Stacy; grandchildren, Chalmer, Chaylee, Claudia, Sydney, Hayden, Cambrie, Elizabeth, Britney; and a great-grandson, Bo.Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Yorktown Baptist Church, 5025 Yorktown Boulevard with Pastor Larry Grimes officiating. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park and services will be led by Pastor Jeff Lynn. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society. To view tribute, please visit www.seasidefuneral.com.
