VELASQUEZ Banquete, TexasCeleste Crystal Velasquez, 17, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2009. She was born on October 5, 1991 in Corpus Christi,Texas to Rogelio C. Velasquez and Linda G. Tijerina. She was a student of Banquete High School and was the pitcher for her high school softball team. Celeste was also involved with various school activities. She will be missed by her family and many friends.The family she leaves to cherish her memories is her mother, Linda (Sandra Rodriguez) Tijerina of Banquete, Texas; her father, Rogelio Velasquez of Houston, Texas; her sisters, Cynthia Velasquez, Gigi, Rozina, Melinda, Denise, Kristian, and Nicole; her brother, Sergio Velasquez; her maternal grandparents, Jesse and Diana Molina of Banquete, Texas; maternal great-grandparents, Elma Gonzalez of Banquete, Texas; her uncles, Raul (Michelle) Tijerina, Richard Molina and Christopher Molina; her aunts, Elizabeth (Ramon) Vera and Debbie (James) Gardner. She will also be missed by Maria Key, Minerva Alonzo and her high school sweetheart, Randy Valdez and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, teachers and many dear friends.A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2009 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Banquete, Texas. Interment will follow at Banquete Cemetery.Arrangements Entrusted to:
