David Farlow Obituary

David Kent Farlow, 57, died at 7:50 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2004, in a Corpus Christi Hospital.He was born February 10, 1947, in Kokomo, Indiana, a son of Bob and Lucille. He graduated from Indiana University in 1976. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran and a retired Army helicopter pilot, having attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Four. He worked several years in aviation safety at CCAD and retired in 2003. He was also an avid country western dancer and joke teller.He is survived by Darby Herborn, Corpus Christi; his parents, Ward Robert and B. Lucille (Morrison), Kokomo, Indiana; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Adam Benjamin and Bonnie Rule, London England and Alexander Matthew, New York, New York; a brother and sister-in-law, Allen R. and Barbara J., Tipton, Indiana; a sister, Janell Kay Hunter, Tipton, Indiana; two grandchildren, Thomas Rule and Lillian Claire; an aunt, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.He was buried with full military honors at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana. A memorial service will be held at the chapel of Corpus Christi First United Methodist Church, 900 South Shoreline Blvd., on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 6:00 p.m.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity supporting the arts.
