NEVAREZ Hebbronville, TexasDavid Lee Nevarez 37, was called by our Lord on April 18, 2012. He was born on May 21, 1974 in Laredo, Texas to Felipe Nevarez and Leticia Rodriguez Nevarez. David was a State Trooper II for 8 years before that he was a Captain for the Jim Hogg County Sheriff's Department for 8 years. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Felipe Nevarez Sr. and maternal grandparents Cesario and Trinidad Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife Kim O. Nevarez, son David Lee Nevarez Jr., daughter Laylah Marie Nevarez, parents Felipe Nevarez Jr. and Letty R. Nevarez, brothers Felipe (Dora Lisa) Nevarez IV, Michael (Adriana) Nevarez all of Hebbronville, paternal grandmother Francisca Nevarez of Falfurrias, parents in law Robert Jr.and Pat Saenz of Falfurrias, grandfather in law Jesus Lopez of Falfurrias, five nieces, one nephew, numerous aunts, uncles and cousinsRosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville.Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic ChurchBurial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.Pallbearers will be State Troopers Unit -Sergeant Cornelio Flores, Oscar Garza, Roberto Hernandez, Danny Martinez, Joshua Coleman, Daniel Pina, Conrad Hein and Ramon Farias, brothers Felipe and Michael NevarezDavid fought a courageous battle with cancer until the good Lord called him home.
