Alvarez in Kingsville, Texas. She was a housewife and a member of St. Martin Catholic Church. Doris believed 'Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.'She is preceded in death by her mother, Dora Gonzales Alvarez. Survivors include her husband Romeo L. Lomas, a daughter Crystal L. Lomas, father Amadeo Alvarez, brother George (Gracie) Alvarez and three sisters Thelma Baud, JoAnn (Roberto) Garza and Amanda (Jorge) Garcia.Pallbearers include Jorge Garcia, Rocky Garcia, Roberto Garza, Derek Runyon, Gus De Leon, and Joe Rodriguez.Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church. A Rosary will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
